MELBOURNE EASTERN ORCHID SOCIETY INC. Founded 27th June, 1949 General meetings are held at the evening meeting with a team of judges adjudicating the benching competition. The day meeting is less formal with benched plants judged by popular vote of members. Our meetings emphasise information sharing through demonstrations and talks. The Club has a lively and successful Beginners Group, a well stocked library at both the day and evening venues, provides top seedlings for members at reasonable prices and publishes the monthly Bulletin which is sent to all members.
